Found a better rate? We'll match it.
Got a current offer from another Georgia natural gas marketer? Call us with it. If it qualifies after our review, we'll match it, so you get a competitive fixed rate with a local company that answers the phone.
How it works
1
Get a current offer. A 12- or 24-month fixed rate from another Georgia natural gas marketer, offered for this month.
2
Call us with it. Have the offer handy: the marketer, the rate per therm, the term, and the date.
3
We review it and match it. If the offer qualifies, we match the rate on the same term.
What qualifies
- A current offer from another natural gas marketer certified in Georgia
- A fixed rate on a 12-month or 24-month plan
- Matched on the same term as the competing offer
- The offer must be for the same month you ask us to match it
Every request is reviewed. Matching is not automatic.
What doesn't qualify
- Variable or monthly rates
- Terms other than 12 or 24 months
- Expired or future-dated offers
- Bill credits, gift cards, sign-up bonuses or other incentives. We match the rate per therm.
- Offers from companies that aren't certified Georgia natural gas marketers
Questions
- Is the match automatic?
- No. We review each offer to confirm it qualifies before we match it.
- Can I use this if I'm switching to True Natural Gas?
- Yes. Price matching is open to new customers switching to True, and to current customers at renewal.
- Which plans can be matched?
- 12-month and 24-month fixed-rate plans only, matched on the same term as the offer you bring us.
- What do I need to have ready?
- The name of the marketer, the rate per therm, the plan term, and the date of the offer, plus proof of it: a screenshot of the posted rate, the mailer, or the written offer. When you call, the agent will tell you where to email it.
- Why does the offer have to be for the same month?
- Natural gas rates change month to month. Matching an offer from the same month keeps the comparison fair.
Price matching applies to qualifying current fixed-rate offers from Georgia-certified natural gas marketers on 12- and 24-month terms, matched on the same term for the same offer month. We match the rate per therm only, not bill credits, gift cards or other incentives. All requests are subject to review. True Natural Gas may decline offers that do not meet these terms.
